Is it Summer Yet?
This time of year I start to get a bit antsy. I look forward to the sunshine and the warmer weather. I know, after having lived here for 17 years, that summer rarely comes in June. My birthday is in June and I think I could count of one hand the number of times it’s actually felt like a summer birthday. Don’t get me wrong - I actually LIKE the rain the other 9 months of the year. But come June...I get a little weary of it. Still, it’s been a bit of a blessing this month because I just had a new lawn installed - or it will be a new lawn once the grass seed sprouts. Watching grass grow CAN be |
