| ArtistsConnect was born from
a need for local artists to have a place to meet and connect with other artists. One of
our principle goals is to provide an information resource for our members - a resource
that is created from the collective wisdom of the group. We come from all walks of life
and create in many different kinds of media. We wanted to show that a group of artists can
come together and support each other exculsive of the medium we work in. Generally speaking we are about 75% female and 25% male, with a very wide range of ages. Although we meet in Edmonds, we have members from Kirkland, Snohomish, Shoreline, Seattle, Everett, Mill Creek and other communities. We welcome anyone to the group that is serious about connecting with others and sharing his or her own wisdom. Demographics become less important when you consider the level of friendship that can be developed in a group such as this.
